Reggae artist Julian Ricardo Marley was arrested after police discovered 350 pounds of marijuana with a street value of up to $350,000 in a Bronx building.
The 42-year-old Jamaican-born singer was arrested after he was spotted leaving a building with what appeared to be a brick of weed by a narcotics officer who was in the area a different job.
When he was pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt, officers detected the smell of marijuana coming from the car and upon investigation 25 pounds were found in the trunk.
A second man was later arrested in connection with the drug bust.
He was spotted leaving the same building with a 16-pound bundle of marijuana.
Police then pulled him over for also failing to wear his seatbelt.
When they searched the building the men had come from, they found more than 310 pounds of marijuana, which is estimated to have a street value between $140,000 to $350,000.
